Single Tooth Replacements
A missing tooth and an empty space can be physically and emotionally, a very trying experience. It causes immediate aesthetic displeasure. Also leaving a gap unattended can have unwanted results such as shifting of remaining teeth, misalignment and periodontal disease.
The primary goal of implantation of a missing tooth is to restore the lost tooth back with better strength.

Technique of single tooth replacement:
Regular Two stage implant is used where implant only is placed first (without putting abutment extension) and left it in bone for 3 months (in case of lower jaw tooth) and 6 months in case of upper jaw tooth.
After healing period, Final crown (tooth/cap)is given as second stage on abutment attachment.
If we get good sufficient tightness (Torque) of implant,extension (abutment) can be placed at this time on top of it and fixed temporary tooth can be given at first. After 3-6 months later, Permanent final tooth (Crown/cap) will be given.

Evaluation of surrounding tissue for any local infection
Evaluation of presence of sufficient bone to get implant with regards to the height and width
Imaging studies may include:
Dental small x ray (Intra oral radiograph)
Full mouth x ray/OPG(Orthopantamograph)
CBCT(3D dental x ray) if required.
